My darling girl

My last two letters should have been dated 12th & not 13th. Well sweetheart we havn't made another move yet but expect to in a few hours so thought I would just drop you a few lines. Got a letter from Jim Henderson yesterday have answered it (wonderful) & am mailing it on to you, I also got a letter from mother which I will mail if I can borrow enough envelopes, the writing pad you sent me is in my pack which is miles away from here, so am obliged to beg for my stationery. Well dearest leave is opening up in good shape now so I may get back sooner than we expect, cant come too soon eh girlie.

Well darling this is just a few lines, fondest love to you & my dear little ones.

Your loving,

Jim
