My darling girl

Just a few lines this time to ask how'd you do & I am quite well thankyou.

Have moved into the line since I last wrote, commanding a Cy. in the line for the first time, so am pretty busy & naturally anxious to make a good showing.

The weather is very hot today after a lot of rain & looks as if we were going to get more. No more this time dearie.

Fondest love to you & bairns.

Your loving,

Jim
