My darling girl

Your two letters of 22nd & 24th to hand this evening, am glad to hear that Eric has had his X Ray treatment & that the docter [sic] considers it will be effective. And so I have got a soldier son now eh! by jove am beginning to feel old, yes I would be delighted to get a photograph of Frank in his uniform & by the way what about those other photos, am looking forward to getting them. And Gwladys is taking music lessons again. She certainly has a good teacher. I hope she will be a credit to her.

Well dearie we have not moved again yet but expect to in two or three days. Where to Heaven alone knows, in the meantime we are making the most of our time here.

I saw another Miniota boy yesterday, one of the Whythe boys, you remember his father bought Fisher's farm in the Valley, he is in this Battn, he has won the Military Medal, his brother you remember won the D.C.M. & was wounded & sent back to Canada over a year ago.

Tell Eunice I got her letter alright with her brother's address, am quite a way from there, but one never knows when I might be near there & I shall certainly make a point of going to see him if I am. Fondest love to you & the chicks.

Your loving,

Jim
