My darling girl

I havn't had a letter from you for four days, wake up, you know I look forward to your letters as much as you do to mine.

It has been very wet this last two days, but fortunately we have not had to stay out in it much. Am writing this in a dug out about 12' underground, holding 5 of us, on the whole its fairly comfortable, as we have bunks fitted up in it. Well dear have not much news this time & as you know nothing to comment on. Am feeling fit & everything OK. Hope by this that you are comfortably settled in your new home. Fondest love to you & kiddies, love to Will & family.

Your loving,

Jim
