Dearest.-

Well honey child there was no mail from you again this week.- oh well I forgive you darling. I had to go and see the C.O. yesterday he had a letter there from ottawa re financial assistance for you three the Legion at Moose Jaw, ottawa turned it down flat they said all they could do was and get it reduced. So darling I guess you are stuck with the bills again. but cheer up darling nothing is so bad it couldn’t be worse you will just have to cash what bonds you have and pay the balance whenever you can and to hell with it dont worry about it darling. Well our mess isnt quite finished yet but it really looks nice, new curtains etc we have some xmas trees we got in from Goose Bay. and we are all set for a big xmas its quite a serious business up here the fellows are all so cheesed off been here for over a year some of them with no leave (ground personell) We entertain the NCO’s xmas morning serve the airmen their dinner and then proceed to get drunk ourselves we are having our xmas dinner at 2 p.m. but its not going to be the same without you and the kids but I’ll have a drink for you darling and think of you a lot. its funny how you can think of little things we did it helps a lot and keeps me from being too lonely. Jesus I’m getting mushy again and we have been married for ten years! There were a bunch of parcels came in to-day and the fellows are all excited just like kids. Well darling that is all for now all my love and kisses

Frank.
