Dearest Jeanie.-

Hello good looking! How is everything, patiently waiting for Mondays mail. There had better be a letter or else! flew all day yesterday so I have to-day off think I’ll go to town to-nite take in a show and have a couple of quick ones at the British Officers Club. (they also sell sausage rolls there and are they ever good) I am having trouble getting $50 worth of shilling postal notes I have so far about $30 worth so if I cant get the rest this week I’ll mail what I have. I am also getting some pictures developed which if they turn out ok. I’ll send to you. I’m sure anxious to hear how Gary’s operation came out! poor kid!

Well my darling we are slated for leave around new years of course that isn’t final but it helps ones moral to think about it coming up anyway. We are having a halloween party next saturday nite for the airmen and N.C.O.’s and we have to (officers) whistle in to town saturday and line up girls for the dance (what fun that should be) the ground crew sure need a break they have been up here a year now with no leave all they talk about in the letters we censor is the leave they have coming. I feel sorry for them because the aircrew get back to Canada at least twice a year. I suppose you will be in Moose Jaw by now and a happy birthday anyway darling
