Dearest Jeanie.-

Received your last letter ok. I guess I wont be home for a little while We just got a rush posting to 162 Sqdn. In Iceland. We cant even get embarkation leave so. I guess I’ll be spending my two weeks leave I have coming in Scotland I’m sure disappointed I couldn’t get home but I suppose I cant do much about it? You had better send Gary’s birth certificate in to Ottawa where your check comes from and get that settled

We are all cleared from this station now and we are waiting for a signal from E.A.C. to proceed to Moncton where we will fly across to Iceland. (what a hole to go to!) I hope everything is ok at home and that you are looking after yourself. I think I will tie a big one on to-nite I just feel in the mood! I got innoculated again to-day along with a complete medical so I guess I’m still in pretty fair shape. Well darling I guess that is all for now I’ll write again before I leave so write soon and Love & kisses

Frank.

P.S. Reykjavik will be our base in Iceland but you had better send the letters here till I get settled again.
