Dearest Jeanie.-

Received your letter of Aug. 24 & Sept 1st also received one from mother I’m sure glad to hear Gary is home with you now. I’ll be home this month but its hard to say when we are still busy as heck we have to take off to-nite n an all nite sweep and I’m up for or derby officer to-morrow but I think I’ll miss that f we stay out all nite. It is raining like hell right now, but its suppose to be over by midnite. I haven’t been down much around here except eat it sure is nice to get back to decent meals and milk again

It is sort of a nuisance though just sitting around waiting for a call from operations you never know when its coming but they always manage to get us out of bed at the damnedest hours. I stayed in bed until noon to-day though and thoroughly enjoyed it? Did you hear what the word “WAVES” stands for (we are virgins except for Saturdays). They are having a supper dance in the mess next Saturday but I hope I’m on leave before then So goodbye for now write soon

Love & kisses
Frank

P.S. I find I can’t mail this until to-morrow I find Im out of stamps
