Dear Neice,

Just a few lines to let you know that I am well hoping this will find yous all the same

I am still in Eng yet we expect to sale this week but it has been canceled for too weeks. The weather will be nicer in a cupel of weeks for sailing, but the weather is very nice here now. The sun is shining nice and warm and every thing is giting green

How are you giting along at school I hope fine, I havent had eny mail from yous for a long time, not sence I came from France, but hoping to git some soon. But I am pretty sure I’ll be on my way home before you git this letter, if all goes well,

I aint doing eny thing onely playing foot ball and bace ball and I’m giting so lazzie I don’t like to do that. Ho ho, I havent done nothing much sence the war stoped, I wount know how to work when I git back to Canada, but I guess I will soon lern again.

I guess your Dad will be busy making mapel syrup by this time. Well Gladys I havent much news to tell you this time so excuse short letter I’ll rite soon again, good by
