Dear Neice

Just a few lines to let you now that I’m well, hopping this will find yous all the same, I’m on my leave now I’m in Scottland, it is sure a nice place, it is the nicest place I ever seen, I’m putting in a good time I got your letter that was rote on the 8 of April and was sure glad to here from you, you said yous sent me a parcel a week before you rote. I havent got the parcel yet, but I might git it soon, it takes a parcel a lot longer to come then a letter, but when I git it I will let you know. I’m on my six day leave, and it might be at Seaford when I git back, I herd that Herld Hamilton was around Seaford, but I haven’t seen him yet. I see Burt Hill once and a while

Well Gladys how is every body around home I hope they are all well, well I must close for this time hopping to here from you again soon, with love to all. (by by.)
