Dear Niece -:

Your most welcome letter received a few days ago the address was right too I intended to write the day I sent the fruit but there was a lecture on that evening and I had to go to it so I just sent a card and I forgot to put my address on it. I have had most a divel of a sore neck for the last week there was a carabuncle came on the back of it the Dr lanced it yesterday and it feels a whole lot better today.

We have had some pretty cold nights and a lot off rain since I came back but it has turned out fine again today.

I may be up at the end of the month but don’t know for sure if I come I will be up Saturday the 30th and say if you see Geo Pinkerton tell him to tell Charlie to be sure and come home that Sunday. I have to go to the Dentist on Monday to get my teeth fixed up. Oh say how did Cattrells make out with the lawsuit they had with the council I suppose they made them open up the school road.

How is your mothers arm getting along can she use it yet. Well I must come to a close so bye by

Joe
