Dear Cousin:-

Just a few lines to let you know, that the world is still going around.

I had a letter from Mary the other day she had it in with Bertha’s letter to Billie.

I am glad to hear you have got a good man for the summer, men should be very plentiful there is’nt many away.

How is Billie Pinder I was wondering who you would be sporting with but I guess the auto will catch your eye if nothing else does.

How is Gracie and Norma, I suppose those two buggies, still come from Gleneden.

Where is Dave and Jack Carmont this Summer, and Nellie is she as fat as ever.

What kind of a football team has Orchard this summer, pretty good I hope.

We are now back from the firing resting but still well within sound of the guns, they are going pretty steady to day.

Well Essie I think this is all for this time but from now on I am

over

going to try and write once a week to you only. I cant write much at a time so I will write often so bye bye I remain ever your foolish roving cousin
