Dear Tina:-

Your letter of the 17th inst. just reached me here yesterday, having been forwarded on from Cobalt.

Quite unexpectedly I was sent down here to take a course in Physical Drill and Bayonet fighting, and have been here now just two weeks. After I came down here I thought of going home for Easter, but found that we had to be on duty yesterday A.M. (Saturday), which rather spoiled my chances of getting home. However I hope to get home before we leave the North Country, and will see you all then. I visited the McKenzie's last Sunday and hope to call on either the Grants or Tina (McDonald) Little this Sunday.

The weather here is not very nice to-day, dark and cloudy, so there will not likely be many suits out.

With love to Ethel and Wilber and Grampa Tully et al.

Yours afftly.,
Alex.

Expect to be here for two weeks yet.
