My darling, –

My dear brave sweetheart our parting yesterday seemed so short just as though for overnight & so it shall be dearest. You looked so sweet & pretty & I shall carry that last image of you in my heart over half of Europe if the Lord so wills.

Goodbye for a little while dear one & be the dear good girl I have always loved. We have had many happy months together love & shall have many years more if it please God to bring me back to you. Don't neglect your music dear, take a deep breath & hold your chin up & oh yes – say rather!!

Oh my darling I love you!
Yours ever
Errol.

I have assigned to you $20.00 per month to pay for the piano. That should about clear it up in 12 months, as there is only $250.00 owing. It will probably arrive about the end of the month. If it does not let me know at once. E.B.P.
