Dear Winnie: –

I received your letter & parcels last week and was glad to hear from you.

I am still with Brigade & getting on O.K.

I guess I told you before that MacLeod is working with me. I saw McLaren's brother the other day. He is in another B.C. battalion. The one he came over with was broken up some time ago. Their father was over here for a few months but made Blighty again. I saw Jimmie Waughn a few days ago.

Jack Hughes knows him. He was through all the Battn. went through and didn't get a scratch. His partner Jackson was napooed.

We are having a lovely weather now.

spent my holidays in Paris. I saw most of the sites & had a great time while it lasted. I sent you some postcards from there.

I am expecting a letter from you. Hoping everything is going all right.

Jack
