Dearest Helen and Howie

Well my love how is everything now had a letter from you maild the 5 of Sep. not bad time. Say you sounded like you was having a good time in Calgary. Wish I could have been there to have the good time with you. Wish I wasn’t so jelous of you it realy hurts to think some one els is having the pleasure of being with you and I can’t do anything about it. But hope to heck I can be with you soon. The news looks good. You never said anything about the war I figured you would be counting the days and Min till we could be together the same as I am. But I can understand just what you did you just forgot to mention it at least I hope so. Well I am listening to Fred Allans program on the radio so you see I have something to keep me company and keep me at home. There are a lot of nice French girls around here you know what they say of a French gal I wonder if it is right. Should I find out so I can tell you if it is trew when I come home. I have heard a lot about air men too But I guess they arn’t as bad as they say or you would have said so. But they are pretty nice you figgure glad some one has a good word for em. Guess you think I am giving you a ribbing just jealous you know me that way my big bad habbit wish I was like you I wonder how I could make you feel the same of me? Say how is Howie hope the rash is all gone I have his picture and you on the radio so the first thing I see in the morning is you and him. Shor be swell when I can wake up and have the real person to look at remember the way I used to have to have you in the morning to go to work. That was always hard for me to do wanted to be with you all the time but I found things turned out against my greatest wish. Well lets hope I will be able to explain my self by actions soon. Must close All my love dearest I love you
