best thing I ever tasted though a bit dry I used to eat a spoonful at a time every quarter mile or so. The bass were Heavenly I gave the err of box toilet soap to a little Belgian kid who I think must have been fishing for something like that, for she kept asking for “Ein Souviners I am Canada” she sure showed everyone in town the soap before half an hour was up and they all had a smell at it. we ate the cake In supper the same night. The frosting had fallen off so we ate it like fudge Im enclosing a few items I’ve picked up on my travels they may prove interesting I’ll write an explanation with each. I hope mom you don’t worry too much about me I am certainly not worrying myself and except for the odd bit of discomfort I would be almost as happy as if I were back home. I’m sorry to hear that uncle George’s health is not so good I hope he gets better soon. next parcel you send me put in a pair of socks don’t knit them because we throw them away when we get a change not having time to wash and dry them before we move again. If I had one spare pair I could carry around with me. This is one place where parcels mean something but dont go to too much trouble as I know that some things home are hard to get. A tooth brush wouldn’t go bad as this one I have now is a Belgian and as soft as a rag.

Say me to Mary & Tom George and Richard Ada & Lloyd, Mill and Kirk everyone in fact. Take care of yourself and Dad keep the letter moving and now so-long and

all the best
