My Dearest Mother

I guess you will be surpprised to Hear from me in London But I am Living here now we arrived here yesturday, 60 of us came up from Ashford to work here now we have a large work shop at #74 Tunnel Ave Greenwich London, we all start work tomorrow morning, it is only a 10¢ ride from here to Florences home, But she does not know I am up here yet., we only had an hour notes to get ready & catch train so could not let her know I was coming But am going up to surppris her tomorrow evening, I am in a very nice Bellet here, & gets lots to eat so far, we are only a 5¢ ride by buss to the center of London

Gee But I am tired tonight, have been looking around all day & am tired out now so am going to bed in a very fue minutes, so will write you a longe letter in a fue days & give you my new address, But send my mail to Florence untell then. I am feeling very good & Florence is fine, Hoping you are all O.K. Well close now. With best Love I am as ever your Loving Son Harold
