My Dearest Mother
I rec parcle today and every thing was fine, the cigaretts came in fine as I am short of money this month & that will save me a lote as cigaretts are very dear over here now Florence is stell in London with her Mother, I hurd from her this morning and she is no better, Gee I feel sad & Lonesome with-out her, she is just the dearest thing in all the world to me now and all the world seems lost with-out her, But I hope she will soon be back to me now, But I will count the days untell she returns, But she is very poorly for she is about 4 months gone now, & open the other trouble has made her much worse But she is geting the best Doc attendence any way, I sent her the Brock & cushion & Oxo this evening, & I know she will like them fine, I am going to try & save a dollar to go and see her a week from Saturday, she is very lonesome for me and I am as Lonesome for her.
Well Mother I am stell at same old job & will be here untell end of war I guess, and then if we can get enough money together by then, my little wife & I will be back to Vancouver together, But I would not want to come back with out her and I hope the day will come soon, Pleace excuse writing as I have got a bum pen, & also excuse the one envelope to three letters, I am sending them all to Hazel as I had her letter addressed befor I wrote these, and all I am trying to do is save a stamp, for I nead all my stamps now to live, I have not rec your letter this week, But will ans it as soon as it comes, maybe tomorrow, so will close now & post this, Hoping you are well, I am feeling very good, But very sad & Lonesome. by will go and post this now.
