Dearest Mother,

I really don’t know how to thank you enough for all the nice things which you have showered upon me. The parcel arrived yesterday, also the music from Greta & we are waiting for a letter from you to know all about it. The ring is just a nice size & very pretty. & my darling thinks that the necklet is absolutely it. & the bracelet is very unique. I gave Harold the baby to amuse him & half the chocolate We are getting quite a large family, that is our third, but they are all such darling’s & are no trouble at all. They are the right sort to have. We are still very happy & haven’t had a divorce yet. Last week we had lovely spring weather but it was too good to last & we have gone back to frost again. Trusting you are in the best of health. Wish best love from us both

I remain

your affectionate daughter

Florence.
