OTTAWA CANADA, November 16, 1943.

Mrs. Mary Louise Boon,

10129 - 118th Street,

Edmonton, Alberta.

BOON, William Daniel, Sgt. (Deceased)

No. R.61125, R. C. A. F.

Dear Mrs. Boon:

Receipt is acknowledged with thanks of your receipt for your son's personal effects which went forward to you recently.

We note that this includes the effects only that your son had with him in Africa and we are, accordingly, instructing a further search for other effects in England. It is possible that your son may have arranged to store his surplus effects with friends or with some commercial storage concern in England prior to his departure for the Middle East and if you have any information in this connection we will appreciate hearing from you. We will, in any event, report to you as soon as we have heard from Overseas.

Yours faithfully,

C.N. Tingle F/O

for (N.O. Seagram) S/Ldr.,

for (L.M. Firth) Lt.-Col.,

Administrator of Estates.
