Hello Sis, -

I've two letters here to answer from you – nos. 30 & 31, then I'll be caught up to you. Ray Toby at the present is stationed in Northern Ireland and I haven't heard from Norm Taylor yet – but a letter from India or Africa or Burma takes quite a while – and from all reports the fellows out there are kept fairly busy.

Was sure pleased to hear that Will got a commission & that he's to be an instructor. The war will still be on when he does get over here – tell him there's no rush.

So you are a “Miss Canada eh – well what do you know – some class eh?

Give my regards to Pauline Sellers when you see her next – she's a swell girl.

I was also pleased to hear that you still approve of the future Mrs. Boon. She's O.K. by me too!

Don't worry about Varsity – you'll be going next year alright. I hope Norm stays & finishes before he gets any ideas about joining up. When he finishes his course at Varsity he'll be much more use to the Air Force than he is at the present time, so I hope he waits.

Well the news here is about the same – George is O.K. he went on leave yesterday – all duded up in his civvies. I've got 15 trips done now so I'm half finished my first tour – at least I'm not classed as a rookie any longer – which is something.

The last snap from you & Mom is really a peach – how about a few more?

This will be all for now Betts – look after Mom.

Love & Kisses

Bill.
