February. 21./42.

Dear Betts, -

Glad to receive you note with Mom's & Luth's. I see you two get on just about the same. Oh well – somebody has to keep you in toe now that I'm not there.

Say, your drive for canned goods sure went over with a bang – nice going sis - that's the old Boon spirit – never let anyone beat you.

I was also pleased to hear that Mr. Richards received my letter – you might get him to answer it sometime – if he has not already done so.

I've made a note here to write to Miss Cameron – thanks for the reminder sis.

I sure would like to see the Twins now I'll bet they are cute now – must be growing up eh?

Since when have you been in the choir? - this is news to me. But you keep up with your music kid - take it from one who knows.

I was sure sorry to hear about Johnny Turner – he was a good kid although somewhat of a screwball at times. I guess Ruby feels pretty bad eh?

I see Marie is up to her old tricks again – she'll grow up someday.

So young Ted is still the one and only eh? - then why all this tearing around with young Moir. It isn't the real thing – or you'd be home pinning your heart out. Personally I think you'll be an old maid – dig-dig.

Well goodnight sis – look after Mom and take good care of yourself.

Loads of Love,

Bill.

PS: - Write again soon

PS: - Remind Mom to send me some cigarettes every month or so.

B.
