Dear Mr. Irwin

Just a line to let you know that I am quite well getting along fine hope you do the same Received your post card on September the 12th 16 was very glad to hear from you I did not received any letters from you since I left Canada I wrote you two letters and one post card you should have it by now I, just came out for a little rest from the trenches hope to go back in 6 days. very glad to hear that the 93rd is in England I don’t think they work harder then we do

How are your boy scouts getting along we are having a nice time (I don’t think) 3 feet in the water and shells are flying over your had day & night it is not very nice to fight Frytz and Hintz is it my adres is Pte Louis Norris 145385 47th Batt. B. corps % Field Post Office Belgium that’s my new adres because my old Batt. is broken up and we are all transferd to other units well I think Ill close with best wishes and regards I am yours very sincerely
