Friday, October 5th.

Yesterday was certainly "dud" but I had to fly low and it was without exception the worst day I have flown. My machine was out of control more than once, the wind and bumps were beyond description. It was raining also and the clouds were at 1000 so you can imagine the discomfort. I was glad to get home I can tell you. Today is very fine but the West looks dirty. Just warned for an aerial sentry so must close.
