Dear Mr. Irwin

Just a line to let you know I am back again with the boys after several weeks sojourn in Hospital with a broken jaw. It was rather painful, still I must not grumble. I was at the Canadian Hospital at Le Treport & I have never been treated better by anyone

The Canadian nurses cannot be beaten & they don’t forget to use a Canuck well. I shall always have a warm spot in my heart for a little girls in blue.

Have not received any mail from you for about two months now, so I guess it has got lost.

I hope to be able to give Fritz a few more souvenirs before getting any more wounds

Trust everything is going good in & around Norwood, & I will write again soon. Did you get my line from Hospital.

Kind regards to all

from yours sincerely
