My dearest Mother

Just a line to say I have received the parcel safe and sound. The pudding was spiffing for we had it today and the cake. Cigs are all gone already and Min's muffler is simply grand-pretty nearly a blanket. Thanks for letter also.

I received a parcel from Cartref by same post and today a big one from Mountain St Epworth League, Montreal so at the present time I don't know what to eat first (never rains but it pours). The last named parcel is a Xmas one and evidently got delayed on the road. Enclosed are its stamps for Stan and some more pictures also to be preserved.

I'm going on guard now so must stop.
So bye-bye

Ever your very loving boy

Jack.

My! It's cold.

Min
Thanks very much for letter and enclosure. You are a darling. Will write direct when I get your next epistle.
