Crowborough

Feb. 6th 1917
Dear Mother:-

I am going on draft to morrow morning with the rest of our section. We will have to get up 3 oclock to morrow morning and will star early I expect. I will let you know my new address when I get to France. It is 10 P.M. now & I must make this letter short. I am in good health & am looking forward to seeing France whatever it may have in store for me.

Give my love to all. Be Brave dear mother. The Lord will spare me for you if He deems it advisable for all concerned. I will write as often as possible.

With love and Kisses

Your ever loving son

Archie

Will you please show the scenery postcards I sent you, to Stjana Orr. Show them to her. I am sure she would like to see them.
