Got up in good time. (Roomed with Mr. Trembley in club.) Took train for Noeux at 11 o'clock, found a limber waiting for us there and rode to Maigengarbe to Rear H. Q. Bn in line opposite Loos. Changed clothes and walked up to line at 3 to 5 o'clock. Went on duty at once and had duty until 2:30 A.M. Nothing unusual happened. B Coy had a bad accident a few days before (see 16th). Weather beautiful. Good deep trenches all dry and comfortable.
