Dear Lettie

I thought I would write you a few lines tonight to say I am well. We arrived in France today. I was sick on the boat. It was pretty rough but I'm feeling fine now. I've seen Charlie Fife today you know his father lived on Don Crest and I've seen Fred Arnold that works were I did. It is fine weather just now and I hope it keeps fine too. I suppose you got that post office order all right. Write and let me know if you received it or not.

We got quite a send off when we left Bramshott camp and I tell you it was harder leaving our old chums there than it was when we left Canada. My address is
