Dear Mother

I am still doing fine and well. We are having a rough time yet but things are cooling down here.

I heard from Uncle Geo a few days ago. He is not in khaki yet. His boss is trying to get him exemption.

I see the Russians are still going to it and we have started down south. I think Germany is about all in.

I have not heard from Grandpa for a while. The last I heard he was alright.

How are the kiddies all well I hope. And Beatty. I believe I owe her a letter. Remember me to her and tell her I will write soon. I am too tired now and I must write to Uncle.

Well I will say Goodbye. Give my love to Father and all the kids and Goodbye with love from

Your loving son
