Diary

June 18 - A big display of good stuff from many homes. The boys all over the camp were shouting with glee, waving new socks, shirts, caps, plugs of tobacco, and about every man smoking a cigar. I got a big parcel from Artie and Nellie and enclosed were other parcels from Aunt Minnie, Uncle Harry and Lu Rowe, so have lots of socks, handkerchiefs, tobacco, needles, thread, sweet soap, towels, note paper and envelopes, etc. It was a great picnic day all around.
