Dear Mom,

This evening recd 12 letters, Yours Mar. 5, 11, 19, 21, 26 Brendas Mar 13, 20 (airmail and snaps) and Jims Mar 6, 20 and 27. Glad to hear all well with the Stewarts and McDonalds. So Lindas turning red-head. Shes a cute kid alright. Victoria certainly must have changed in the last couple of years. I'll bet J-ack Benny got a real welcome - more so than a big (celebritypolitical) - that should be political celebrity. Things about the same here, we follow the news thru the German radio and newspaper and we're all armchair generals, without the armchairs. Ive got a swell tan already but sun-bathing doesn't seem right to me without a good swim once an hour I hope I can still swim when I get out of here. Personal parcels usually arrive in very good condition, nothing damaged. I sure wish I could help you down some of those salads and vegetables from the garden. Solong for now, Mom, lots of love to all.

Syd.
