Dear Brenda - I hope everything is still going well out there and that you are in good health. How is Bob getting along in his new job? I'm addressing this letter home as I figure your address might have changed when Bob left. This is Sunday afternoon and as usual I'm bored to death. Lots of good swing records have come in lately and last night we had a real session. I'm looking forward to the music you're sending me. Your wedding picture arrived, also the newspaper clipping. I've also rec'd a couple of you and Bob dancing.

Pictures are all swell. Latest letter from you May 19. Four lbs. peanut butter and six lbs choc. From Mrs. Carr arrived and what a feed I had. Also parcel from Seattle with fruit cake. Tell mom all the parcels are great. Sleeping bag is really something. Lots of ordinary mail lately, generally April letters. This is the kind of day I'd like to be out at Thetis Lake. Give my regards to all the gang. Thanks Again for fruitcake. Say hello to Bob for me when you write him. Love to Mom and Jim. Solong and tons of love, Syd.
