Dear Dad:

Just a line to let you know I am still quite OK. in spite of the Huns. We are not working very hard but are averaging about one show a day and quite often manage to scare up a few wandering Pfalz and Albatrae and Trepis and occasionally screw them into the ground.

D.P. is away on leave now so I have been leading the patrols as I have about the strongest flight in the squadron. We ran into five last night and managed to shove down two of them and the C.O. is feeling quite bucked with life.

In a few more weeks I shall put in an application for H.E. which won't take any time to go through and the middle of July should see me in England at least.

Take care of yourself and you might also have a new bathing suit ready for me or Max's fixed up and tell Fern not to use up all the gas.

Love

Gord
