Dear Mom, Dad & Art:

Well here we are again & last for awhile, push off this date.

How's every thing going. I hope you are still progressing favorably Mom & soon will be back to normal again.

It sure is great weather we are having out here but that is about all & sure hope it keeps that way for a few days at least. I saw Doug Lindsay last nite he arrived the day before I believe and I imagine he will spend some time here as the others of his kind have been here some for a month, whereas ours are usually only up to a couple of weeks at the most.

I was hoping to have a letter from both you & Con today but none in at noon so have fingers crossed for 5 o'clock mail. John Rounsefell got his first last nite so maybe I'll hit it tonight, incidentally John & Bill are not with us this time, just Don Gordon Miles Howlett & myself from the coast.

Well I guess I had better close now and get back to barracks & prepare a heck of a lot of that I have to do, really light stuff this time.

Now wishing Art many happy returns of tomorrow and please say hello to every one for me please, so with a bye for now I'll close

Your loving son
Jack
