My dear Sister

I wrote you a letter and a P.C. some days ago. I hope you got them both safe. Well I'm so far in the land of the living and enjoying it O.K. I got a letter from D.C. this morning and I came through the town he is at when I came out of course I dident know he was there.

Who did I come! Across the other day but Donald J. Macdonald Nun Town Benbecula you remember "Good enough" he left Nelson about a year ago and that was the last he saw of Alick Mc.D. he is just as good a talker as ever and just as jolly. I also met his pals McPherson from Balamore. So I'm kind of glad that I was transferred to the 7th Batt. As you know Donald John is a good fellow to pass the time.

We're in a warm corner at present but we areint losing many men. I will drop you a card every chance I get.

With kindest regards to all
