My dear sister

I received your most welcomed letter a few days ago. Also your nice parcel I must thank you very much for same. I had a letter from Alick the other day he says its likely he'll take the measils, I hope if he will he'll get over them safe. I'll never forget when I had them in Canada I am sure he'll be looked after better than I was.

Well you'll see by the above adress that I've moved once again but not the final one yet. Shorncliff is a most beautiful spot just on the seashore and in sight of the French shores on clear days. I got john's letter o.k. you can tell him ill answer in a couple of days.

I forgot to ask you in any of my former letters why you stopped writing D.A. MacLean. You shouldn't stop the way you did. He blamed me for it. I will be pleased if you'll write him and give your excuse what ever it is.

Now Mary I hope you wont be angry at me for my words.

Hope your all well as it leaves me the same at present

Yours affectionately
Ewen
