Dear Alice,

I received your most welcome letter, and was very pleased to here from you, but it has taken quite a long time to get here. I have written several to you but did not get any reply. I received this letter of yours on March 22nd, 1918 and it was sent on Dec. 3, 1917, some going eh? Well I am getting along very nicely now. And I am expecting to get to Epsom this week and then I will know if I am coming back to Canada for I guess I will get a board there. What do you think of the photo I am inclosing in this letter, let me know the next time you write. Remember me to everybody at St. Mary's and give my best regards to your Mother. Hoping you are in the "pink".

I remain yours,
Sincerely W.A. Veniez
