On Active Service , France

Dear Ona and Levi,

Received the card you sent me of the last of Feb. and was glad to hear from you. There is quite a bit of old mail that I have not got yet, but it is coming along. I have not got any chronicles yet since coming to France.

I received a large box from Mother yesterday. It came in twenty three days so it made a fast trip alright. I also got a small box from Steve Ewen about a week ago.

I wrote you a letter a week ago.

I am well and getting along fine these days. Hope you are all well. How is Margaret this summer?

The weather here is good at present no mud at all.

I saw a lot of the Dunnville boys the other night. My address is still the 19th. I think I will close for this time from
