Dear Mother,
Just a few lines to say that I'm well. I began work last week and I'm not working hard. The weather is still very fine and warm. I wrote by card a week ago and hope you are receiving my letters. Received a parcel and cigarettes this week. There is no more to say but I'll write again next week. Hoping you are all well at home. Will write Enid by card to-day.
Love to all,
Gerald
