Dear Mother:-

Just a few lines to let you know I am well and getting along fine. We are having lovely weather here now. Elliot Jones said that the parcel you sent me after I left Amherst that it was opened there and ate whatever was there I didn't think we were going away so soon. Did you get the money that was assigned home and how much? Will you find out where Vince Duffy is now and get his address for me.

I suppose Walter Jones is all done farming by this time is he. Well I guess I will have to close for this time hoping to hear from you soon.

Good Bye
