Dear Mother:-

Received your welcome letter today dated Dec. 20th and was glad to hear from you.

We are having awful weather here now raining every day.

All the Canadians that are able to leave hospital are going to a Convalscent camp pretty soon, and I don't know what they will do with us from there. Yes I got the two parcels with the chicken in them.

I didn't have a parcel from you since about the 12th Dec. so I guess I didn't get the one for X-mas, but I had all I wanted and am getting lots of grub. now so don't send any more till I get settled down again as I am not likely to be a Convalscent very long. Well you needn't worry about my leg it is allright now its as good as ever it was.

As I have no more news I must close hoping you are all well as it leaves me at present.

Good Bye.

Allan Hamm.
