Dear mother

I hope you are all quite well, I am sorry to hear that you are not getting my letters, I dont know why, I write once every week either a Post Card or a Letter. I am getting both your Letters & Parcels all right, & I am getting maggie's Letters all right now.

We are having lovely weather now, today is very fine.

I am still at Mindon, I dont know how it was that the War Office notified you that my address has been changed, dont alter my address at any time till you hear from me we are always allowed to send an address card any time we move as soon as we get to the new camp.

I had a very nice Parcel from Emmy yesterday, three of us mess in together, it is much better than eating along. I got those books all right from Mrs Griffin they are very good ones. I have been doing my washing today, the more I do it the less I like the job I am getting one of my teeth stopped there is a Russian Dentist in camp, he does very good work, do you remember the tooth I had stopped at Home; the filling fell out of that while I was at the front, that not the one I am getting filled though, I am going to wait, I get that one crowned. I hope that Hugh will make out all right on his [?], he must be quite a dealer these days. I am getting along pretty good & am in very good health, I hope you all at Home are the same give my love to all & to Emmy & Joan

your loving Son

Tom
