Dear Mother

Thank you for your letters, I was very sorry to heard about Dick in the last letter I had, I am shure it must be a great shock to them all at [?] they seem to have had so many misfortunes lately.

We are having very fine Weather here now during the day, but at night, we have some very bad. Electric storms, it has been very hot & also lately.

I finished the sweater I was knitting for one of the other Canadians yesterday, it was for his Boy aged 10.

I had a very nice letter from maggie, the day before yesterday, she tells me that Helen is getting to be a very big gal now, I should love to see little joan again, he was the prettist little girl I ever saw the last time I saw her.

I am getting my Parcels all right now, & those back one's are turning up now as well. thank you very much for the money I got. the Order on Monday, it is very good of you to send it to me.

I got another suit of clothes from the Red Cross a few days ago, I am in the best of health, I hope that you are all the same at Home.

Give my love to all at Home & to Emmy & Sam

your loving Son

Tom.
