Soltau Lager I.

Aug 14/17

Dear Mother

I hope you are all quite well, I am back at Soltau Camp again, I have'nt had a letter from you for over 5 weeks now, I suppose they are following me around the Country. I am waiting to hear, I suspect I shall get some some letters this week, I should anyway. I dont know how long I shall be in here this time, but I expect that I shall go out this week, I have been very lucky in getting my Parcels so far since I left Minden. I supose the Boys are busy in the Harvest now, the last letter I had from you was dated May 26/ We have been having very nice weather lately, today has been a lovely day. This Camp in not closed in like the Minden Camp it is a very large camp most of the Prisoners here are Belgians & Russians. When you address your letters in future leave the Z3010 out of the address & put Soltau Lager I Hanover.

How is old Mr Arky getting along, I supose Drayton is pretty quite. Sam must be very busy now with his two places.

give my love to Emmy & Joan, & tell Sadie to write to me some times.

I hope that it wont be long now before I shall see you all again your loving Son Tom.
