Dear Mother & Father

Just a few lines to let you know I received you letter hoping you are in the best of health as it leaves us at present Sorry to hear father was home sick for days good job it did only last that time & is back at work. Had a letter from Annie & Beat they are pretty well & by Annie letter she has started Roppecking out at Bartholomews I should like to be there for a time. Pleased to say we have been having fine weather lately though it is a little cold in the morning but still got to a concert & it was good just as good as the show you wood get at the theatres I have paid money to see worst show than that all the [?] song & everyone there was something about the war in them & all put together by the soldiers it last about three hrs. Well I don't think I have anymore to say this time so I will close this letter.
