Dear Sister.

Just A Line to Let you know I am well hoping this Letter will find you all the same Well I am getting on fine over here and Enjoying the excitement. The weather is not very cold yet but it rains every day and we are mud to the eyes How did your crops turn out this year I guess I would be pretty hard to get help. They had fine crops over in this country We have been having it pretty hard this Last month But we expect to get A move to A quieter place for the winter. Well I am Just three month in France today And we have been fighting all over the durn country If the war is going to End this year it will find up befor xmas. But we have got the best of Fritz in every way. We have got him beat on sea and in the air And our Artillary is far superior to his not saying anything About the men. He wont stand up to A baynot charge at all As soon as you get close up goes his hands and mercey comarade. Well I cant send you much news as we are not Allowed to Did any of the Broome boys inlist. I get word from home quite regular in fact I have had word from everbody only you did you not get the Letter I wrote you. I will have to close for this time as news is scarse I will tell you all when I get back. I will close With Love to all
