Dear Folks:

I received your letter the day after I mailed mine so thought I would wait awhile. Well to-day was payday and I got $25.30 I have 7.00 dollars left over from last pay day so I am going to try and put 20.00 of it away. That will make 60.00 in the savings account.

I think I have all the letters now I got Earls letter. Ronnie got a pen and pencil set from the Ladies to-day they are a Skywriters set.

I guess I don't get my 48 hr pass this week end but I still have 2 or 3 coming up.

We have a test to-morrow on the Merlin engine, boy it sure is one awful complicated engine and sure a lot to remember about it. We will be having our intermediate in about 3 weeks that means we will be half through our course here.

How is everybody out there that sure is a lot of summer fallowing to do isn't it.

I just finished writing Auntie to tell her I won't be down to Toronto this week end so that she won't be expecting me.

I think I will go down to Port Stanly for a swim on Sunday, I bought a pair of silk elastic swimming trunks they cost me 2.00 they will stretch side ways but not length wise.

I got my summer uniform and have wore it once I sure like the blue a lot better but the Blues are awful hot.

We have had fairly hot weather here until yesterday it has been wet since.

We had our parade there should be some pictures in the Toronto Star next week.

I have been thinking of bying a motorcycle what do you think about it I might just as well be bying something with my money as having it in the bank. I would be able to get around more with a motorcycle that is if I wasn't always C.B.

Well there isn't much knews here and the lights will soon be going out. Everybody is preparing for there 48 hr pass to-morrow. Well I guess this is all hope this finds you all well

Your Son
Bill
