Dear Mother:-

I have rec'd no letters from you since last Sunday but expect to have one on Wednesday.

I rec'd a very nice letter from Granny Adams asking me how I was getting along and telling me if I wanted anything to be sure and let her know, so to please the old dear I told her she could send me a couple pr socks.

Well dear we have had lovely weather the last week and it looks as if it's going to continue.

We drew for passes a few days ago but I am not building my hopes up yet as I have been stung so many times.

I am expecting to go and see Dad on Tuesday.

I hope you are all feeling well and happy. I am feeling fine myself.

I should get your parcel this week.

Well good night dear.

Jack
